Budget 2021: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present Union Budget on February 1. Ahead of the Budget 2021, Budget Session of the Parliament is all set to begin from today ie. January 29. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the Economic Survey 2021 in the Parliament on Friday. The session will be held in two parts –January 29 to February 15 and March 8 to April 8 and will have a total of 33 sittings. The Budget Session will begin with the President’s address followed by the presentation of the Economic Survey.

The Economic Survey is a detailed report of the condition of the economy and is prepared by the Economic Division of the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the guidance of the CEA. It mentions key challenges before the economy and the way out to tackle it. In simple words, the Economic Survey is a document on the outlook of developments in the economy. The

Economic Survey 2021 be prepared by Chief Economic Adviser KV Subramanian.  Soon after the presentation of the Economic Survey, CEA Subramanian will speak to media to give details about the survey.

This Economic Survey 2021 will be of great significance as it will be presented in the Covid 19 times and will give insight into Country’s economic condition and also present the government’s plan to put the economy bac on the track.
