The annual Business Analytics Symposium, hosted by the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University, will return this year as a virtual event on April 6 and 7 (half-day each day). Now in its fifth year, the symposium will be accessible to analytics professionals across the country and around the world. “This is the premier analytics event in Iowa,” said David Spalding, Raisbeck endowed dean of the college. “We’re excited to launch a new format to coincide with our first virtual symposium.” The event will feature keynotes from four national and global analytics leaders: Teddy Bekele, chief technology officer at Land O’Lakes Inc.; Laurie Krause, executive vice president and head of insights and analytics at Wells Fargo; and Meredith Corp. executives Britta Cleveland and Andy Borinstein. Former FBI deputy director and cybersecurity expert Sean Joyce will close the symposium with the Campanile Keynote sponsored by PwC.
