Southern Veterinary Partners CEO Hailed Birmingham Business Journal’s CEO of the Year

Dr. Jay Price, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) has been awarded the Birmingham Business Journal’s CEO of the Year Award for companies with 100-299 local Birmingham employees for the year 2020.

The Birmingham Business Journal’s Annual CEO Awards is aimed at recognizing Birmingham executives whose leadership has helped their companies achieve strong growth and success. Top-performing executives are selected from businesses of all sizes and are categorized based on the number of Birmingham residents employed in their respective companies — namely, 1-9 employees, 10-24 employees, 25-49 employees, 50-99 employees, 100-299 employees, 300 or more employees, and Nonprofit.

To be considered for the prestigious award, nominated executives are judged based on the following criteria: strong financial performance, tangible results and goals achieved, and a key role in the success of the business and community involvement.

Dr. Jay Price started SVP with his animal hospital, Oak View Animal Hospital, in Birmingham, Alabama.
