Credlix acquires EXIM fintech start-up NuPhi; grows supply chain financing business to $100 million disbursal

Credlix, the digital supply chain financing platform from Moglix, has entered the EXIM financing space, with its acquisition of NuPhi. The acquisition comes shortly after Moglix’s entry into the Middle East region. As Moglix continues to expand globally, it is focusing on strengthening its supply chain financing solutions to enable manufacturers easy access to cash flow for their growth. Moglix has been working with suppliers and manufacturers across more than 120 countries. As part of its COVID-19 response, Moglix supported PPE and medical equipment deliveries to organizations to mitigate global supply chain disruptions in 53 countries.

NuPhi is a Singapore based fintech start-up offering invoice factoring solutions to MSME exporters in India and South-East Asia. Founded in 2019, by Pramit Joshi and Mayur Totla, NuPhi offers cross border financing and SaaS applications to digitalise & automate EXIM workflows.

Microsoft acquires AI business analytics start-up Suplari

The software giant will add Suplari’s Spend Intelligence Cloud to its Dynamics 365 suite of business tools.

Suplari, a start-up that uses AI to analyse corporate expenditure and cash flow, has been acquired by Microsoft.

The software giant plans to add Suplari’s analytics tools to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of cloud-based business applications. The deal was announced in a blog post but financial details of the acquisition were not made public.

Seattle-based Suplari was founded in 2016 by Nikesh Parekh, Jeff Gerber and Brian White.

Its tools allow corporate clients to process their current and historical spending data to predict future trends and make decisions with the aim of better managing their cash flow. The company uses AI and machine learning to clean and categorise spend data and supplier activity from multiple systems and provide users with predictive insights.
