Jaguar s Award Winning Electric SUV I PACE To Launch on 23rd March

Jaguar Land Rover’s first all-electric performance SUV, the Jaguar I-PACE will be launched in India on 23rd March 2021, through a unique and immersive digital launch event – ‘Jaguar Futuropolis’ a virtual, future-facing urban metropolis that is home to the all-electric I-PACE.

Since its debut, the I-PACE has won more than 80 global awards. It was the first car ever to win all three World Car titles simultaneously in 2019; World Car Of The Year, World Green Car Of The Year, and World Car Design Of The Year.

Here in India the Jaguar I-PACE is expected to be available in three trim levels – S, SE, and HSE. A 90kWh lithium-ion battery is at the heart of the Jaguar I-PACE. There are two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, one on each axle, with both of them combining to produce 294kW of maximum power and 696Nm of useable instant torque. This all-electric performance SUV boasts of an all-wheel-drive system and can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 4.8 seconds. In a single full charge, the I-PACE provides a range of 470 km on the WLTP cycle.

JLRIndia is expected to provide, an 8 year 160 000 km warranty on I-PACE’s 90 kWh battery, the company will also be supplying home chargers as standard equipment with the I-PACE.
